A Family-Friendly Interactive Journey around the Spiral of the Work that Reconnects

Hosted by Jen Myzel and Featured Musician Melita Silberstein w/ members of Octopretzel!

Join us on Saturday, March 26th, for a family-friendly, interactive musical journey around the Spiral of the Work that Reconnects, a body of work created by Bay-Area elder, activist and scholar Joanna Macy, to help us stay connected to ourselves and our world through these uncertain times. The early evening will follow a Spiral from Gratitude, to Honoring our Pain for the World, to Seeing with New Eyes, and into Going Forth in our work for the world. This month's featured artist will be Melita Silberstein (and members of Octopretzel), who will share songs and stories that take us on a journey of remembering and reflecting. Some of the other element that may be woven into the evening include group singing, deep time practice: accessing wisdom from past and future generations, council of all beings: calling upon the wisdom of the non-human beings, partner inquiries, meditation, stories and other adventures yet unknown. The content of this event will be conducive to all ages. It is recommended that you be present for the whole event, since this is a concert and ritual/workshop in one.
